The Role:
• Responsible Instrument & Control Engineer for all Instrument & Control related activities associated with acceptance of sub-systems at mechanical completion handover stage of the project.
• To conduct pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities to an acceptable standard.
• Generating progress reports from Completions Management System and reporting deviations from project plan to the CSU Lead.
• Endure that Vendor Coordinator is informed of changes in vendor support requirements in a timely manner
• Approve site materials requests (SMR’s), technical queries (TQ’s), field instructions (FI’s), livening up notices (LUN’s) raised by I&C supervisors
• Ensure that As-Built documentation is properly marked-up and compiled in an organised way.
• Ensure that copies of latest red-line key documents are always available in the Control Room.

• To contribute to the Pre-Commissioning / Commissioning of all Instruments within the project FCP scope.
• Process Control System including Safety Systems and PLC systems on mechanical package units.
• Position will report into Commissioning and Start-Up Lead.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Preferably B.Sc. in Science or Engineering.
• 5-10 years experience of working in field based Construction / Commissioning environment in the Oil & Gas industry.
• In depth knowledge of process control systems.

• Good team player
• Excellent Communication Skills in both written and spoken English
• Should be computer literate.
