The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Instrument Completions Engineer to join our client for a contract role based in Onslow, on a 28/28 FIFO rotational basis to be responsible for executing Instrumentation activities of the Completions Engineering group.

Reporting to the Lead I&C Completions Engineer, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Lead craft supervision for a wide range of Instruments and system testing and commissioning activities
* Support pre-commissioning team activities, such as loop checks, calibration checks, MOV stroking, logic inspection, verify alarm/setpoints, establish datalinks to foreign devices (foundation fieldbus, DCS, SCADA systems), walkdowns, I&C physical checks and orifices checks
* Execute specific specialist commissioning activities (in coordination with system engineers) such as functional checks, complex (closed) loop checks, cause and effects checks, control valve testing and level gauge calibration
* Works with commissioning system engineers for Site Acceptance Tests and co-ordinates with Performance Test Lead, if SAT is to be run in parallel with the Demonstration Test
* Executes I&C preservation activities. This involves co-ordination with the preservation team
* Applies management of change process to the I&C Completions activities. This includes design changes, changes to scoped drawings, produces NCRs/RFIs/FCDs, redlines, and associated rework and retesting coordination
* Applies I&C CSU documentation and procedures and supports management of change, updating and tracking (working in conjunction with the specific document owners)
* Apply project I&C and general procedures and prepares CSU electrical isolation, switching & energisation documents
* Update scoped drawings and databases; whilst coordinating with the Completions Department Turnover Coordinator. This includes input of any required changes into TEAMWorks and SetRoute
* Ensure all project I&C and general procedures are being utilized and followed by the I&C craft
* Support the Lead I&C Completions Engineer with component information for Instrument Field Material Requisitions.
* Work with subcontractors, supplier representatives & other discipline teams to ensure proper documentation of testing.
* Supports LOTO activities by review during work preparation, and confirms 100% compliance of craft sign on/off.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Relevant degree qualification
* Experience in a similar role within the LNG industry essential
