The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:
My EPC client is seeking an Instrument Designer for a role to be based in the Perth CBD. 6 month contract with good chance of extension, with good rates on offer for the right candidate.

This position is required to provide ongoing Instrument Design technical support for the LOC scope transfer to POC and also support for the resolution of technical issues related to this scope of work, raised by module fabricators and the project site construction team.

The intention is to transfer cable schedules for all underground scope and for the modules shipped or to be shipped in the next 3 months from LOC to the Gorgon Engineering Team in Perth for on-going management of change. This change is required to maximise the ability to respond to technical queries and intereface with the construction team currently installing cables at site.

Managment of this task from London (LOC) is difficult due to restrictions in communication caused by the time difference, having a resource in Perth avoids this difficulty and they can arrange communication to minimise any impact on the construction.

Familiarity with PDMS
Familiarity with SmartPlant Instrumentation
