The Role:
Electrical Subject Matter Expert, holding knowledge in design, engineering, project management, project coordination, technical consultation, technical analysis, technical evaluation, working systems building and enhancement, coaching and training.

• Provide expert knowledge in Engineering design, methodologies, tools, systems, best practices, and international standards.
• Provide technical expert advice and support to other departments, particularly in response to Engineering, Projects Implementation and Operational Technical issues, and assist in identifying alternative solutions and corrective actions in cases of project blocking issues.
• Review and evaluate vendor’s proposed solutions to ensure compliance to technical specifications and client requirements; establish appropriate evaluation guidelines and criteria.
• Review existing design and engineering tools, quality standards, practices and methodologies, and recommend improvements to enhancing the performance and effectiveness of the design and engineering section.
• Participate in project coordination meetings as required to ensure that design and engineering activities are scheduled and executed in line with the overall project implementation plans and client requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Electrical Engineering & Design
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing methods and processes.
• Projects Commercial awareness.
• Strong Project management skills.
• Strong knowledge of MCC, HV, MV and LV design equipment.
