The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
• Member of a multi-functional execution project team responsible for planning, coordination, field supervision and engineering input relating to all instrument equipment for the three-train LNG plant.
• Leads the site instrument engineering effort in response to contractor Request for Information.
• Evaluates and resolves identified technical issues and design enquiries within the limitations of the roles technical authority.
• Assists Perth based Technical Authority in defining and acceptance of performance test acceptance criteria.
• Provides interface between construction and the Perth-based Engineering team, including interface with the Quality department.
• Supports project assurance efforts to ensure scope of work is completed in accordance with project requirements within Instrumentation area of responsibility.
• Accountable for technical witness and hold points, design parameters and specifications.
• Manages the day-to-day interface with the Area Construction Engineers, providing a focus on safety, environment and quarantine together with quality and engineering aspects.
• Supports the Site Engineering Manager to ensure effective project closeout, including documentation, Completion and Commissioning Support
• Provides pre-commissioning mechanical completion oversight and verification support.
• Monitors the mechanical completion phase and participates in the transition to final hook-up and commissioning phases

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree qualified instrumentation engineer or equivalent experience,
• 10+ years site construction experience, primarily focused on instrumentation and process control aspects, ,

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and an understanding of instrumentation construction management, sequencing and methodologies, and
• Good knowledge of LNG construction is preferable
