The Company:
Our Client is a multi-discipline engineering design company providing design, procurement, project and construction management consultancy services.

The company is a flexible, responsive and pro-active business that has successfully delivered projects ranging from small-scale studies through to multi-million dollar new build programmes.

The Role:
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF ROLE
• To work as part of a Project Team responsible for the production of technical documentation to high professional standards within challenging programmes and budgets

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
• Background in Oil & Gas/Chemical/Petrochemical Industries preferred.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
• English Language – written, spoken and technical
• Ability to convert data sheets or technical communications into Engineering Documents
• Ability to read drawings from other Engineering disciplines
• Ability to design/work to International Standards and Codes of Practice
• Ability to Liaise/co-ordinate work others
• Awareness of Quality Management System philosophy
• Team Player
• Comply with site rules & safety cultures

ESSENTIAL SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE
• IT Literate

KEY TASKS AND MAIN DUTIES
• Prepare and/or check loop diagrams, schedules, instrument index, and compliance with International Standards and Codes of Practice
• Co-ordinate/liaise with other Engineers
• Interpret Vendor and other discipline drawings/information
• Work to time schedules and budgets
• Report to Project Manager
• Comply with Quality Management Systems
• Other professional duties reasonably required
• Undertake site checks & liaise with Construction.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• HNC
• Safety Passport Holder
