The Role:
To support the Senior Trainers, L&D and Line Managers to ensure the company has a competent and compliant workforce.

Principal Responsibilities:
• Support Operations & Maintenance FLM groups in the development and maintenance of Job Curriculums, training materials & Activity Based Learning (ABL) modules for all roles.
• Support Senior Trainers in the identification, design, delivery and evaluation of training activities.
• Facilitate delivery of safety critical training ensuring the organisation achieves its target compliance.
• Instruct, mentor and coach on job as required.
• Assess competence within the area of vocational competence
• Accurately record training and development activities.

Person Specification – Essential:
• Experience of working in a Petrochemicals manufacturing environment, in either Operations or Maintenance.
• Experience of working in a training function with understanding of the full training cycle.
• Ability to communicate with all levels in the organisation (verbally, written and presentations).
• High level of numeracy, literacy and IT skills (L2 minimum).

Person Specification – Desirable:
• Ability to challenge the way we do things.
• Persistent.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Certificate in Training Practice (or equivalent)
