The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the related maintenance activities.
Coordinate, supervise and lead the maintenance activities of all field instrumentation and control systems
Serve as specialist on the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of instrument control and safety systems (ICSS)
Lead efforts in diagnosing instrument control and safety systems malfunctions and prescribes repairs or changes in work practice
Estimate material and labour requirements for assigned jobs and prepare material requisitions for approval
Report equipment and required documentation changes in line with MOC procedures.
Report and correct unsafe conditions or practices
Coordinate, mentor and guide instrument technicians and trainees in order for them to evolve in their jobs and guarantee the levels of service provided
Participate in the recruiting, training and developing Angolan staff in plant maintenance roles.
Design, review and publish standard operation procedures related to Instrument discipline
Review and validate hazards assessment to make sure all hazards have been identified and mitigated properly
Ensure maintenance plans are executed in a safe and efficient manner
Planning and schedule activities to make sure all activities are done within compliance and avoiding backlog
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering degree from an internationally recognised university
Demonstrable maintenance experience in a diversified/complex oil and gas processing environment
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Portuguese is an advantage
