The Role:
Senior Instrument Engineer
• Looking for someone with HANDS ON field instrumentation experience.

• NO OFF SHORE EXPERIENCE heavy candidates

• Ideal Experience Tenure: 10 – 20 years

• Minimum 3 years with a North American Shale production operating company
• This position shall provide E&I engineering deliverables for well site facilities associated with Company’s North America Shale (NAS) assets within the NAS engineering team that also covers the process, mechanical and quality disciplines.
• The NAS engineering team creates detailed design packages for modularized well pad surface facilities.
• Creation and maintenance of instrumentation index and associated data sheets from process inputs.
• Identification of instrument cost reduction opportunities and implementation the same via management of change process.
• Technical review of instrument bids
• Management of PLC systems; programming, testing, deployment and commissioning.
• Trouble shooting facilities during commissioning and start up as required.
• Accountable for modeling HSEC leadership in all aspects of the role. This includes actively ensuring HSEC concerns are properly addressed in all phases of project development and execution from design through to commissioning and start-up. In addition, it includes demonstration of HSEC leadership from a personal perspective.

• Technical knowledge, communication skills (written and verbal)

• Bachelor degree in relevant Engineering or Science discipline
• Minimum 10 years industry-related experience in both E&I disciplines
• Ability to self-manage and lead others to consistently deliver
• Good working knowledge of and experience with onshore production facilities
• Excellent knowledge of industry instrumentation products and technology options for process control and metering.
