The Company:
Description of Projects :

• Power projects ranging in size from 10 MW to 4000 MW
• Power plants burning natural gas (simple and combined cycle), coal, oil, bio-mass, waste-to-energy, and cogeneration facilities
• Projects located in Thailand and surrounding Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.

The Role:
Scope of Responsibilities :

Design and engineering role performing conceptual/basic engineering as the Owner’s Engineer consisting of:
• Conceptual I&C system design
• Major Equipment selection and sizing
• EPC contract specification and negotiation
• Provide technical support and clarification for major technical issues

Design and engineering role performing detailed engineering consisting of:
• Write and review technical specifications for power plant equipment and systems
• Perform and review calculations for equipment and systems
• Design and review drawings

Perform equipment sizing and selection, including bid evaluation
• Project Scheduling
• Perform man-hour estimations and assist in proposal work
• Perform technical feasibility studies and due diligence reports

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications :
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation or Control Engineering from an accredited university, Master Degree a plus
• Minimum 3 years of experience, mainly in the field of power plants burning coal, biomass, or natural gas (simple and combined cycle), and cogeneration facilities
• Broad knowledge of field instrumentation, process controls, DCS/SIS/PLC systems, analyzers, process control, P&IDs, and HAZOP and SIL analysis
• Experience developing the I&C design deliverables (P&IDs, loop diagrams, plan drawings and installation details, PLC wiring diagram, control logics and schematics, bill of materials, and I&C specifications)
• Must possess current knowledge and experience with industry electrical codes and standards regarding power generating plant and substation design, including ANSI, API, NEC, IEC, and ISA
• Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and independently as required
• Fluent in Thai and English.
