The Company:
Our Client is a major LNG producer with operations in Angola operating one of the world’s most modern LNG Processing Facilities.

The Role:
The Instrumentation (FMEA) Engineer provides technical expertise to develop, deliberate, and document an FMEA review process of all maintainable items as a member of a team of five to provide maintenance programs with supporting spares requirements.

1. The Instrumentaion FMEA Engineer provides technical expertise to the PM Optimisation team to develop maintenance strategies using the best practice for plant incorporating the necessary spares for each mitigation event identified during the program.. This position will also be responsible for validation and deployment of plant monitoring and improvement processes for all assets

2. Existing Preventive Maintenance routines already identified shall be reviewed to determine suitability for the plant and improved where applicable.

3. Participate in the development of other discipline maintenance strategies with the purpose of ensuring correct synergy when associated tasks are performed minimising downtime by collating common tasks on specific equipment. A culture of safety awareness and commitment, a culture of Environmental stewardship, a culture of safe work practices, a healthy and incident free workplace are the primary safety tenets for developing safe maintenance strategies across all disciplines during the program.

4. Expert working knowledge of operations, maintenance and capital projects in upstream and downstream Oil and Gas Industry. Plant instrumentation, SIL, SIF and fire and gas detection equipment maintenance experience is required to perform the development of the maintenance strategies and routines where applicable

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Minimum 10-15 years diversified maintenance experience in a Petrochemical process or LNG plant, including maintenance work planning / preparation, execution & start-up.
-Extensive experience of all equipment and systems, associated with the Utilities & Process Hydrocarbons plants Oil and Gas Industry, with shutdown and downtime planned or corrective focused work experience.
-Must have knowledge and experience on all O&G instrumentation as well as Safety Integrity Functions and Fire and Gas Systems. Knowledge of Honeywell DCS software Osisoft PI would be good.
-Good written and oral communication skills in English.
-Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a small team for 12 hours per day effectively and without adverse conflict.
-Good adaptability to an environment, conducive to meeting tight targets defined and excellent time management skills
-Computer literate, including understanding of maintenance management systems such as SAP PM Modules for the final deposito
