The Company:
A major operator for an Offshore project

The Role:
We are looking for an Instrumentation Supervisor for an Offshore project.

For construction activities, he is involved from construction engineering until commissioning, and assistance during commissioning and start-up for the disciplines of Instrumentation, ICSS and Telecom:
- To supervise and coordinate the Construction Instrumentation Team with the Lead Discipline,
- To supervise and guide EPSCC Contractor for construction and precommissioning aspects,
- To ensure, for his/her discipline that Construction Engineering, Project Specifications, Procedures and ITPs, TOTAL General Specifications and international codes are well followed for the construction and precommissioning of the FPU, in accordance with contracts and schedule,

For engineering activities: to ensure handover with Instrumentation Engineer for all aspects of discipline design on the FPU at Detail Engineering phase.
- Ensure, for his/her discipline that SOR, Project Specifications and Procedures, Project referential and requirements, TOTAL General Specifications and international codes are well followed for the detail design, delivery of compliant products and construction of the FPU.
- Key objective is to ensure maintenance of the Schedule and to optimise Costs without impacting on the required levels of Quality and Safety.
- Reports to Engineering Lead for Engineering activities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Respect of operating company governance rules and principles
• All Instrumentation/ICSS/Telecom related documents issued during the EPSCC
Accountable for issuance of all Company comments on Instrumentation related Contractors’ documents in due time,
Regular reporting to his management
Issuance of technical recommendation reports related to his discipline.
Deviations acceptance related to his discipline

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Qualification: High Technical level.
• Professional Experience : At least 10 years’ experience in instrumentation & telecom construction activities in petroleum & gas / offshore industry. Experience in large Korean yard would be a plus.
Skills: Sound judgment and analytical skills to apply appropriate risk assessment methodologies and enact effective risk-based decisions - Willingness to establish and back up positions. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with people at all levels in the organization In addition to the tasks outlined in this job description, you may be assigned other responsibilities as needed.
Languages: Fluent English mandatory. French is a plus.
International driving licence.
