The Role:
A new opportunity has arisen for a long term contract based in Perth for an Integrated Activity Planner.

The role will see you work with the Asset Readiness Integrated Planner to update and maintain and execute the integrated Asset Readiness Planning Process.

This position sits within the Integrated Asset Readiness Team. The integrated Asset Readiness Plan supports planning for multiple functions and teams delivering Asset Readiness for the project; Business Readiness, Operations Readiness and CSU across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities includes:
• Facilitate and coordinate the overall schedule monthly progress update, forecast, critical path and trend analyses.
• Develop status reports.
• Provide regular and comprehensive schedule status reports to Senior Management.
• Facilitate live update and review and validation of the Primavera Plan via Face to Face and virtual meetings with Topic Group Owners and Activity Owners
• Liaise with and challenge Topic Group Owners and Activity owners to ensure proper understanding of the plan and realistic progress updates.
• Undertake review of resource profiles and resource allocation in Primavera with resource owners
• Maintain data integrity by policing the planning and progress monitoring procedures to ensure that each element of the integrated Asset Readiness Plan (iARP) performs the processes timely and consistently.
• Review scope change requests for the impact on schedule, critical path and resources. Prepare reconciliation between earlier schedules and the current schedule. Consolidate the impact of approved changes and any deviations from the key project targets and milestones, including productivity monitoring and “What if scenarios” to aid project management decision-making.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The interfaces are extensive and often complex, so first class networking skills are essential.
Fully versed with Planning principles and techniques and Primavera P6
Strong communication, influencing and people skills
Engineering Degree and/or Certification as a Planning Engineer or equivalent experience.
Candidate must have proven experience in Project planning positions.
High degree of skill in excel
A high degree of skill in written and oral communications.
