The Company:
Our client are implementing an Integrated Operations operating model and to achieve this are setting up a new office environment that has a significant amount of audio visual and computer technology.

This role is to provide day to day operational support for Integrated Operations collaboration infrastructure.

The role will initially work in the project team setting up the new environment and then will move into supporting it once in operational in early 2014.

The Role:
-Support of 75 users within an operations environment
-Proactively support meeting technologies and meeting rooms
-Carry out installation, movement and recovery of PC and related hardware and software
-Update asset databases accurately
-Using the company change management processes to prevent production disruptions and outages
-Using Remedy to effectively manage service tickets within SLA
-Ensure compliance with the company Information and Security Policies.
-Develop and promote standard operating procedures
-Engaging in continuous learning to stay abreast on new and emerging technologies

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Experience working with Microsoft XP and Windows 7 client computing in a corporate Microsoft environment
-Understanding and experience of MS Office Suite
-Willing and able to travel offshore
-Strong team working skills.
-Effective planning and organisational skills.
-Effective communication and networking skills.
-Proactive approach with ability to work independently.
-Willing and able to perform tasks outside normal business hours and participate in on-call rota as appropriate.
-Customer service focused
-Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member
-Ability to work effectively across time zones and geographic locations
-Computer Science based degree, B.Sc. or M.Sc. or comparable education. Non-computing education may be compensated with documented relevant experience of working in similar role for a production / operations facing IT organisation.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
-Understanding of video conferencing technologies. This is not required, but would be very preferred.
-Understanding and experience of MFDs and printing hardware
