The Role:
Responsibilities :
• Administer the appropriate systems and processes for interface management of the relevant work scope.
• Monitor, facilitate and report the timely and successful resolution of all critical interfaces issues.
• Support the successful and timely implementation and roll-out of the Interface management process.
• Develop, update and ensure the accuracy of the Interface Coordination Plan.
• Report the status of interface integration issues and their status.
• Ensure that the interface matrix and plan, includes all the parties scope definition and acceptance criteria.
• Establish a process for interface partners to report interface activities; participates in review of critical project deliverables; e.g., requirements, general and detailed system
designs, and testing outcomes; and reviews project schedules and resources, proposes recommendations and negotiates solutions as appropriate.
• Manage complex issue and risk identification, documentation and mitigation and find out the resolutions to ensure mitigation strategies are effective.
• Escalate issues and risks to senior management as appropriate. Identifies, implements, and communicates lessons learned from other efforts.
• Lead effort to determine the impact of interface specifications on multiple complex information technology systems; assists with interface design and projection of resources
and schedule requirements to complete the interface work; coordinates the modification and testing of local system interfaces with the design and development of state-wide
interfaces; and assists in the development of test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Provide project leadership and management over the day-to-day activities in meeting the goals and objectives of the Interface Plan to ensure the project remains efficient,
effective, on schedule and within budget.
• Proactively changes in business requirements and impacts to the technical environment while directing project staff in effectively meeting customers’ new business needs.
• Represent at project Configuration Management Control Board meetings and participates in the classification, approval or rejection, release, implementation and confirmation
of changes to agreed project baselines and versions.
• Vet sample Configuration Items with program CCB core members to identify and document additional CI types to be included in the SSO-wide required CI list.
• Assist programs with identifying and tracking documentation CI gaps to closure.
• Tailor standardized configuration management documents (eg. Program CMP Addendum) for individual program use.
• Coordinate and conduct program-specific configuration management training activities.
• Follow Process/CM Team guidance to ensure proper file naming conventions and directory structure folder locations for storing documents.
• Provide configuration management input to customer-level process documents.
• Provide day-to-day configuration management support to other Process/CM Team members.
• Serve as a Process/CM Team meeting secretariat on an alternating basis with other Process/CM Team members.
• Provide weekly status reports to the government and contractor leads.
• Schedule configuration management meetings and notify participants of the meeting time and location.
• Develop and distribute configuration management meeting agendas and other materials as needed.
• Record and post or distribute configuration management meeting records and actions; obtain expected due dates for meeting actions.
• Incorporate meeting participant feedback into the configuration management meeting record and actions as appropriate.
• Enter program Change Control change request decisions, assignments, and notes within the system.
• Assist programs with submitting change requests and work/sub tasks and with entering status updates to the system.
• Obtain work task and action item status updates and track to closure.
