The Company:
Our client, an international major oil and gas operator, seeks an Interface Coordinator to join their team.

The Role:
COORDINATES the following activities:

• Land and marine transportation of Company provided materials and equipment
• Inspection and surveys of marine support vessels (excludes construction vessels)
• Transportation of project personnel from shore base to offshore construction vessels
• Communication needs for site teams on marine vessels
• Installation team obtaining required regulatory documents to travel offshore and in ports
• HES training for installation team personnel
• Construction project documentation capture and storage

Interface with
• Project Administrator
• Work Site Construction Leads
• Project Quality Lead
• HES Lead
• Shipping
• Aviation

Communication Key interface tasks
• Interface with Work Site Team Leads
• Arrange for marine warranty surveys
• Arrange for third-party inspections
• Arrange for site team to obtain regulatory travel documentation
• Arrange for land transportation and hotel reservations for project personnel
• Arrange for load out of Company supplied equipment and materials.

Interface with Aviation
• Arrange for helicopter transportation to and from construction vessels
• Coordinate helicopter trips with Contractor’s construction vessels
• Coordinate helicopter trips with regulatory agencies

Interface with Communications
• Arrange for mobilization and demobilization of communication equipment for site teams on marine vessels

Interface with Shipping
• Arrange for marine vessels

Interface with project procurement / administration
• Order, and distribute supplies for each work site
• Distribute and track electronic document pens
• Arrange for printing and computer needs for work sites

Interface with HES Site Team Leads
• Arrange for site team HES training as required for each work site
• Monitor and track project personnel training

• U.S. Passport
• TWIC card
• Medical release for offshore travel
• Physical ability to complete offshore water survival class

Work Locations, Durations, and Planned Work Hours
• Houston project office
• September 2012 through December 2012
• 5 days per week at 10 hours per day

• South Louisiana shore base
• January 2013 through August 2013
• 7 days per week at 12 hours per day
• Time off to be scheduled with the Construction Manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Strong sense of customer service
• Marine construction project experience
• Microsoft Office computer skills
• Experience working with marine construction contractors
• Experience working on large capital projects
• Experience working at shore bases for marine construction projects
• Experience working with helicopter and marine transportation
• Familiar with government requirements to travel to and from offshore Gulf of Mexico
