The Company:
Our client, an international major oil and gas operator, seeks an Interface Coordinator to join their team.

The Role:
The Interface Coordinator will be reporting to the Assurance, Interface & Risk Manager. This position will be responsible for coordinating the project interfaces within Subsea scope with other functional inter disciplines and contractors. Responsible for the development of the framework for interface processes and tools. The individual will be responsible for performing audits and monitor the implementation of the contractor Interface Management Plan work process.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for the development, deployment and daily running of interface management processes and tools. Coordinate development of interface schematics and interface scope demarcation matrices.
• Ensure timely response to interface data requests from other product groups.
• Integrate the schedule / dependencies of the key interface deliverables into the project schedule.
• Responsible for the Identification, documentation and resolution of all technical interfaces with the subsea facilities.
• Coordinate various interface related scheduled and ad-hoc meetings/workshops, between the Company and Contractors.
• Work with Contractors to identify any non-performing interfaces and interface issues requiring solution.
• Regular liaison with Project Subsea Functional disciplines, Drilling & Completions, Subsurface on the owner’s team.
• Participate in the technical review of the subsea control system, flowline systems and umbilical systems, from an interface perspective.
• Participate in the review of subsea system technical specifications, reports and construction and installation procedures, from an interface perspective.
• Responsible for coordinating regular interface meetings with SEV, SIC and Topsides design, fabrication and installation contractors.
• Raise key interface risks into the project risk register.
• Perform audit of contractors interface process to ensure adherence to project contractual expectations.

• Facilitate regularly scheduled meetings between contractor, key sub-contractors, and the project team.
• Conduct interface management workshop(s) with contractors and key sub-contractors on an as-needed basis.
• Ensure the appropriate linkage with the Project Risk Management and MOC processes are maintained. Identify and drive cost reduction / value enhancing initiatives by reducing interface risks and exploiting interface opportunities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 7+ years experience in engineering, design, construction and/or installation of offshore systems, subsea systems and equipment.
• 3-5 years of experience in interface management from Design to installation/HUC of offshore systems.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in developing project interface plans and leading the application of interface management systems and tools (e.g. project interface alignment workshops, interface coordination meetings, interface register management and reporting.)
• Demonstrated ability to help shape and deliver performance on interface management within the project team.
• Able to achieve team alignment and deliver results through collaboration and influence without position power. Able to work effectively in a wide variety and size of work environments (e.g. structured, group, one-on-one).
• Ability to effectively represent the function within project teams and with contractors, as appropriate.
• Ability to work in and foster a strong team environment with minimal supervision.
• Must have demonstrated technical competence and leadership ability.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and work in a multi-functional asset team.
