The Company:
A leading independant operator within Oil and Gas. They have an expanding team in the UK, Europe and Globally.

The Role:
Our client are currently looking for an Interface Lead for a position based in Southern England.

The role requires a candidate with a strong back ground in the North Sea working on Topside projects. Any experience of working on the Norweigan Continental Shelf would be advantageous.

Responsible for the implementation of the project's Interface Management Plan, specifically, to facilitate, manage, and coordinate the interfaces between groups within the company and the project team and between the project team and the project's contractors.

Primary duties include:
a) maintain the project's Interface Registers, which records the various project interfaces
b) lead interface management meetings
c) coordinates and communicates with various groups within the company and contractors in the facilitation of data requests and flow of information, including resolution to interface issues and problems
d) prepares status report of interfaces, both internal and external, and delivers presentations related to interface management.

The post holder will require a high level of competence in Microsoft Office packages, SharePoint, communication and organisational skills. The post holder will be expected to manage and prioritise their own workload.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Degree in engineering, preferred but not essential
•Working in a project setting or similar, as a project team member, contractor, or consultant working and liaising with all levels of management within company
•Working with contractors

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Ability to lead meetings between groups within the company and between company project team and contractors.
•Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, organise and prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
•Must be able to multi task, work independently, and deal with regular interruptions.
•Ability to deal with sensitive issues and challenging situations.
•Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
•Facilitation and presentation skills
