The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.

In Australia they are involved in one of the largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
Management of Interface issues through FEED and EPC within Offshore, and between Offshore and Onshore development scopes plus associated functions. This position has functional management responsibility for Technical Interfaces across the Offshore Project.

•Identify key Technical Interface issues
•Implement an interface management monitoring process
•Coordinate implementation of management action plans to mitigate interface issues.
•Ensure that main contractors and key personnel review and update interface activities, target dates and deliverable documentation to close out actions.
•Proactively monitor contractor managed interfaces, and liaise with external stakeholders as necessary.
•Liaise with Offshore Risk Coordinator and Project Risk leader to mitigate risks linked to interfaces
•Participate in the organisation’s strategic planning process as required
•Participate in the relevant schedule meetings including but not limited to:

•Interface Offshore Weekly Meetings
•SIMOPS meetings
•Management of Change (MOC) Committee

•Organize technical meetings when necessary
•Undertake engineering and management review of submitted interfaces & risks and issue to relevant stakeholders for action.
•Work with Offshore and Onshore teams to align interface issues and actions with engineering design programs.
•Develop and implement Interface Management philosophies, procedures, specifications and related project management documentation, including
•Management of Project Interfaces Procedure
•Management of Contractors Interfaces Procedure
•Manage the development and use of Interface documents, systems, diagrams and datasheets and coordinate completion of agreed deliverables.
•Manage Interface communications across the project, including review and coordination meetings, workshops, reports and briefings

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Extensive experience in managing and coordinating interface, or in engineering and construction for a large multi disciplined oil & gas projects through FEED and EPC contracting.
•Extensive experience in managing teams of professional engineers and support personnel
•Successful track record in managing 3rd party service providers to budget and schedule objectives.
•Highly competent in interpreting engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning documents and specifications to ascertain risk management issues.

•Working knowledge of:

•upstream and downstream technologies – subsea, CPF, FPSO, pipelines
•project engineering and project management processes.
•Development project certification and approvals processes

•Development project wider assurance issues – quality, safety, environmental and licenses.
•Highly competent interpersonal and influencing skills to tactfully and diplomatically manage ambiguity, conflict and uncertainty in a culturally diverse
