The Role:
•The Interface Engineer has overall responsibility for ensuring optimal interface coordination
•Develop and implement the Interface Management Plan and associated procedures and registers.
•Work with the company to rationalize and optimize the relation between the Interface Management Plan and Subsea Interface Management Plan.
•Establish and facilitate all technical interfaces within the project including all engineering disciplines, construction, installation, hook-up, and commissioning.
•Work with Project Planners to monitor progress achieved with key milestones that require close coordination between different parties to achieve and identify corrective actions when needed.
•Ensure proper flow of information between external parties and take necessary steps to ensure full compliance with scope of work, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
•Audit the contractors’ interface management systems to ensure proper implementation of requirements.
•Establish and maintain contact with all project groups within the Project.
•Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in the project groups to enhance coordination
•Take a proactive approach to incorporating safety into the Project and demonstrate commitment to incident free operations in all activities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Qualified to degree level or equivalent in engineering or related discipline.
•Experience within offshore oil and gas industry – previous interface management experience strongly preferred.
•Highly motivated, proactive problem-solving individual with strong interpersonal skills, ability to self-start, work unsupervised, take a lead and show initiative.
•Strong written and spoken communication skills - ability to communicate technically complex/ novel concepts to non-specialists.
•Commercial and contractual awareness..
