The Role:
Purpose

To proactively monitor, manage and report on internal (between team disciplines) and external interfaces (with and between the EPIC contractors) throughout the Select, Define and Execute Stages of the project.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
• Work with Delivery Managers and their interface engineers to proactively identify and resolve interface issues and, where appropriate, develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks
• Prepare technical and commercial impact assessments, as appropriate, for interface issues
• Ensure all interface issues are assessed and resolved in a best-for-project manner
• Work with Engineering on field-wide engineering technical studies and resolution of interface issues
• Review of, and comment to, technical documents related to interfaces
• Review of, and comment to, contractors interface plans and procedures
• Review of, and comment to, contractors installation plans and procedures
• Monitor, track, report on, contractors interface management systems
• Coordinate and facilitate the installation phase SIMOPS planning and execution
• Monitor and facilitate, as necessary, the regular interface meetings between site teams and contractors, and other impacted parties
• Coordinate, facilitate and lead the quarterly interface management meetings
• Ensure all interface risks are migrated to the appropriate project risk registers, and addressed and closed out
• Ensure changes are processed using within project management of change system as appropriate, and that such changes are clearly communicated to all impacted parties
• Participate in relevant reviews such as HAZOP, HAZID, ALARP and QRA updates, particularly as they relate to interface issues
• Ensure timely and efficient reporting to management.
• Ensure that safety and Incident Free is always top priority, and bserve company values at all time and in all matters
• Ensure that all activities are performed in a cost effective and best-for-project manner, and based on sound safety, economical and commercial evaluations
• Maintain focus on technical excellence and innovation
• Support collaboration and integration across projects, departments and locations and accelerate learning and knowledge sharing
• Ensure that all information, written as well as verbal, concerning the company is treated confidentially

Primary Interfaces

Internal: HSSE; Project Leadership Team (PLT), Faciliteis Leadership Team (FTL), Engineering, Drilling, PED, QA/QC, Site Management Teams (SMT), and Operations

External: Contractors inclduing FPSO, TLWP, GEP and drilling and completions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Bachelors degree in engineering or higher
•PMP Certification desirable
•Minimum 10 years experience in deepwater projects, including management of offshore installtion, HUC and start-up of FPUs
•Strong communication skills with experience working in a multi-national environment
•General experience with the technical details involved in the physical interfaces of a deepwater development project.
•Experience in being a leader in an operating company’s project team.
•Experience liaising with large, international EPIC contractors.
•Ability to travel with little or no notice to remote locations to handle interface and installtion issues.
•Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
