The Role:
Key Responsibilities/Duties

1.Manage day to day activities of the Civil Interface Team; define objectives for the Team, preparing and executing work plans for the Team; deploy resources efficiently and effectively, conduct performance appraisals, motivate & develop staff, cultivate team work, and ensure staff’s compliance with procedures and practices.
2.Establish processes for interface management; review and monitor the specification, design, development and execute interface tests involving Railway Systems; take a proactive role in interface / integration meetings to mediate and resolve issues to ensure that the outcome has least impact on the project with regards= to cost and programme.
3.Coordinate interface design to ensure interface requirements are properly incorporated and issues are identified and resolved in atimely manner such that the outcome has least impact on the project with regard to cost and programme; monitor and keep track of interface related submission and status.
4.Liaise the Systems works amongst System, Construction, Design Department and external parties on technical issues, in particular systems of multi disciplinary nature; manage integrated testing and commissioning of the railway.
5.Define and implement a system integration framework and phase opening strategy; including the development of the phase opening stage diagrams and maintenance of a phase opening tracking data base to ascertain compatibility and to minimize integration problems during construction and commissioning.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Job Specifications

Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
Experience : Min 10 years of relevant experience in Construction. Those with railway and experience in interface design & coordination and systems engineering is preferred.
Specific Skills/Ability : Good time management and interpersonal skill, Good communication skills, Familiar with engineering design & drawings
Personal Qualities: Strong leadership, diligent, hard work, rapid response to critical items
