The Role:
The Interface Project Engineer will:
• Develop and own the Project’s Interface Management Plan (IMP)
• Ensure the Project-wide consistency and effective implementation of the IMP
• Facilitate the flow of Project interface information/deliverables and ensure that interface problems between the interfacing parties are prioritized and resolved
• Develop and own the Project Interface Register (PIR).

• Facilitate the flow of Project interface information/deliverables and ensure that interface problems between the interfacing parties are prioritized and resolved
• Develop and own the Project Interface Register (PIR). The PIR will assist the various contract teams in managing their interface needs/deliverables toward closure
• Monitor progress/completion of interface actions by all interfacing parties to ensure that interfaces are managed and resolved in a timely and cost effective manner
• Highlight interface needs/deliverables of major concern for the Project to the Project Leadership Team
• Resolve interface non-compliance issues if necessary with the involvement of the Engineering manager and the Demand Manager
• Report the interface deliverables progress to the Project Leadership Team
• Issue regular updates of the PIR to interfacing parties

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BSc / MSc / MEng degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Chartered Engineer
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, supported by inter-personal skills that support working at a senior level.
Team player with a mindset to work with a global team and with diverse cultures.
Ability to challenge others in a constructive manner and negotiate with contractors, peers and partner representatives to influence decisions or ways of working.
Ability to coach, mentor and share knowledge in both formal and informal settings.
Excellent presentation skills with ability to explain technical matters to staff not conversant with the detailed technical area.
A commitment to the high standards of HSSE that are expected.
Able to manage time effectively, both own time and that of a team to achieve delivery of work against agreed schedules
Verifiable performance and delivery in a number of discipline engineering activities.
