The Company:
A Global Oil & Gas operator with operations across the Middle East.

The Role:
Purpose

• Strengthen and enhance Clients reputation both internally and with Global Client.
• Support the Client Corporate Affairs manager in the development, implementation and co-ordination of Internal communications, including messaging to ensure consistent delivery across the company
• Functional lead for the coordination and delivery of Client internal communications process.
• Contributes to the overall Client reputation plan.

Accountabilities
• Develop, implement and measure strategic internal communications plans that support senior leaders in delivering their business priorities to Client staff that comprises of around 4900 Iraqi staff and 400 Global Client secondees
• Responsible for providing overall support in delivering the Client Internal Communications planning process;
• Focal point for supporting Client internal communications, including messaging, to ensure consistent delivery across the company;
• Support strategic communications projects as required
• Support publishing timely company information, such as memos and company directives.
• Provide strategic internal communications guidance and delivery.
• Ensure measurement and continuous improvement are at the core of any programs or projects
• Contributes to speeches/presentations of management
• Responsible for Client brand management
• Actively support the Change Management program
• Work closely with (Client - Iraq) CX Advisor(s) to align internal and external messaging and content
• Management and execution of:
* Client newsletter and E-Newsletter (in close cooperation with external communications)
* Support developing content for Client's website (in close cooperation with CX)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience and Qualifications

• Demonstrable understanding of the energy business - gained in operating company or global business environment inside or outside Client.
• Degree qualified, senior, experienced communications professional with 5-10 years' experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing and delivering strategic communications programs including strategic use of internal communications tools/channels, tactical development and delivery
• Able to think strategically and translate business objectives into multi channel strategies / plans;
• Demonstrable stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Self-starter showing high degree of personal initiative, drive, and desire to come up with new business targeted creative solutions;
• Strong proven writing skills
• Creative, with commercial mindset/business focus. Strong interpersonal/influencing skills
• Fluent in English (equal to native speaker) and preferably fluent command of written and spoke
