The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
• Responsible for the oversight of safe and effective management for shipping of major and critical package either directly from the suppliers ( International and domestic) into BWI or into Australia, and between international fabrications yards, vendors as required.
• Responsible for coordination of all aspects of transport to ensure visibility, alignment and integration of plans and schedules. They will work closely and be the prime coordination contact for all stakeholders including HSE, engineering, procurement, BWI Construction, Marine Warranty Surveyors etc.
• The specific duties, tasks and responsibilities of the package manager include:
• Supplier and fabrication location visits and engagement (international and domestic)
• Coordination of stowage plans and lashing and securing of items
• Scheduling and reporting of shipments in accordance with ROS dates and MOF requirements.
• Management of Work method Statements from contractors
• Alignment and visibility of all stakeholders.
• Manage all operational aspects of project dedicated vessel supporting ILS operations.
• Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders reverse logistics operations attributed to ILS assets.
• Interface with Materials Management, review and verification of materials required onsite dates ;
• Manage the correct dispatch methods with ILS Contractor of material priority classification to newly procured materials i.e. Emergency, P1, P2, P3;
• Daily expediting of ILS Contractor to ensure Materials meet scheduled Priority requirements;

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualification
• 10 + years working in both freight forwarding and Oil & Gas
• EPCm experience
• Fully conversant with International trade terms (INCOTERMS)
• High degree of proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Microsoft Access Database
• Fluency and knowledge with contractual terminology – international logistics services contract
• Previous project logistics management/International Freight Forwarding supervisor experience
• International / domestic sea, air and road experience
