The Role:
Job Responsibilities:
1. Represent Th markets in PET and GPET in future truck program development process, starting from Design Strategic Intent (DSI) to SOPR-6;
- Optimize requirements from those markets to ensure a minimum plant proliferation and program complexity as a total, but without compromise with product competitiveness in each individual market;
- Voice of Th markets in PET and GPET;
- Provide input to Free Expression Volume Forecast Development;
- Communicate, gather and consolidate market input for S&O;
- Communicate, gather and consolidate market input for HR IPC feedback via CR/DN;
- Create ICR to reflect market’s request with completed information required for PET and GPET consideration;
- Responsible for an up-to-date S&O in MOR with approved model and volume penetration;
3. Lead Global Core – Support Program Management – workteam to ensure consistent customer voice.
- Provide Market Segment Specification (MSS) for countries / Regions;
- Consolidate and submit VSSM position including number of models and trim levels;
- Key product attributes (Powertrains, Fuel Economy, Safety, Price Positioning, etc.);
- Voice of customer (win/focus/parity) Development;
- Competitive Intelligence / Monitoring.
4. Determine country / region specific changes required to meet marketing needs, shipping, logistics, as well as customer quality needs.
- Manage customer inquiries through Th processes to meet customer needs;
- Manage customer to meet target pricing & pricing initiatives to make business case viable;
- Lead implementation / changes of Th processes to support customer inquiries.

5. Support launch readiness for export markets and facilitate the transition of responsibilities to Export Manager after SORP-6;
- Coordinate with Export Manager to ensure smooth transition of truck program contents and master plan whilst maintaining customer’s satisfaction.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business/Marketing and Commercial discipline.
- Postgraduate qualifications in marketing, business administration or planning preferred.
- 5 years experience in marketing, sales or/and project development fields, with exposure to the vehicle industry preferable.
- Sound knowledge of basic motor vehicle construction, GM products and component range as well as GM’s key competitors’.
- Ability to analyze forward marketing trends and align this into the long-term strategy of the organization.
- The potential to negotiate with nationals in the sales territories with knowledge of the local commercial and regulations.
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Sound organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Project management skills to ensure adequate control and development of projects.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of lotus notes, Excel and PowerPoint.
