The Company:
A Major international oil and gas operator seeks a Intervention and Completions Well Site Leader to join their team. This position is 80% onshore, 20% offshore.

The Role:
The I&C-WSL, is the Single Point of Accountability for well related activity, personnel, logistics, and equipment, during any dry tree intervention. They will assure procedures are followed, conformance with policies and compliance with regulations (DWOP, ETP’s, SPM, etc.). They will lead JSEA conversations, and provide assurance that operations are performed safely. They are expected to identify operational and HSSE risk, implement contingency plans, and confirm that appropriate barriers are in place.

Responsibilities
• Review and provide input into Intervention procedures. This includes lessons learned application, job planning, risk assessments , emergency action plans, risk communications, and crew engagements prior to mobilization
• Assure Intervention equipment has met the Equipment Integrity Assurance requirements prior to load-out. Confirm the appropriate load-out documentation is complete and distributed.
• Provide detailed planning, stack-up, and space out assurance for 3rd party equipment rig-ups. Verify vendor drawings, dimensions, equipment ratings, connection identification, and specifications
• Provide primary operational interface between Intervention Well Site Team, Intervention Engineers, Production Operations (OIM’s, Ops Supvs and Lead Techs)
• Assure appropriate BHA schematics are developed (and documented accordingly), and ID vs. OD comparisons are acceptable for the job scope
• Lead interface with Houston staff for morning call-in, contingency plan development, procedure modifications, MOC’s, and communication to appropriate team members
• Manage project logistics (helicopter flights, equipment boat runs, stimulation vessel operations, etc.), coordinating with vendors, operations and shore base staff
• Confirm operational competency of associated vendors/service crews and provide technical support as needed. (i.e. high turnover rate, and inexperience levels for service personnel)
• Coordinate with Base Management, Operations, and IFP’s for job scheduling
• Manage Open Wells reporting, including wellbore schematic updates, and well file modifications (on-sight)
• Responsible for reporting of incidents through Traction, and close out of action items
• Provide direct management, tracking, and invoice approval for project associated cost
• Support/Review the platform ISSOW permit to work for Interventions activities
• Capture and communicate lessons learned to Intervention Engineers
• Support platform HSE process
