The Role:
The post holder will provide transactional support to the UK Materials Management function. This may include the booking of receipts and issues in the MM module, review and updates to MRP settings, processing inventory adjustments arising from stock counts and participation in the stock counts at vendor sites.

The role will also be responsible for the generation of the suite of month end reports and supporting analysis, including performance metrics.

The post holder will also assist in the identification of surplus inventory, preparation and routing of the Surplus Disposal Forms for management approval.

This role will be a shared resource supporting the CNS, SNS and Drilling Material Controllers and will reside in the Materials Management function.

Responsibilities include:
•Generation of month end reports and analysis and produce the monthly metrics dashboard for MM.
•Updates to the SAP system based on vendor records – goods received, goods issued and goods transferred.
•Adjustments required to inventory balances in SAP.
•Updates to MRP settings.
•Processing of Surplus Disposal Forms.
•Participation in stock counts at vendor sites.
•Support the Materials Controllers in SNS, CNS and Drilling.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise work and consistently meet deadlines are required. The role offers a wide variety of tasks and operational pressures and the incumbent must be organized, flexible and resilient to deal with multiple requests for support and prioritise appropriately.

Experience of SAP, preferably the MM module and exposure to the Procurement processes (P2P). Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent communication skills are required (both oral and written) as the role requires regular communication with colleagues within the function and in other functions. Must be able to communicate clearly with senior management.
