Job Summary

The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for ensuring that physical inventory materials and equipment located at the CIE Marine Base is controlled in line with Quality Control requirements and ‘Best Practice’ principles in order to achieve the highest possible standards of audit accuracy and system data integrity.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

- Performs routine inventory cycle counts in accordance with the cycle count program and rectify any errors or omissions as identified
- Carries out routine and consistent checks against daily inventory transfers, issues and receipts to verify documentation correctness and completeness
- Evaluates materials descriptions in the FIT inventory database to ensure specifications conform with physical descriptions and notify the DMC II to rectify any duplications or deficiencies
- Ensures that all inventory records including customs documentation, both paper and electronic is maintained in an orderly and audit-ready fashion at all times
- Conducts regular reviews of drill bit records, both purchased and consignment to ensure records correspond with physical inventory and accurately maintained
- Ensures that all materials and chemical stocks are appropriately labelled and safely stored in accordance with HSSE policies and procedures
- Participates in the annual inventory Finance/Partner Audit
- Assists other SCM personnel as required from time to time with various daily materials control activities


Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

- Developing knowledge of (or desire/ability to develop knowledge of) the following topics:
- OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) storage, slinging, safe handling, and best practices
- OCTG inspections, documentation, coordination, and on-going maintenance
- Wellhead equipment
- Equipment assembly process
- Drill bit management
- Miscellaneous drilling equipment, testing, coring, liner hanger, float, crossovers, etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined team in a high-performance environment
- Proficiency in English language, oral and written


Education and Experience

- Required: 2 Years of experience in supply chain / drilling materials
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business Administration, Marketing Management, or Purchasing and Supply Management; More than 1 year relevant experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements

- Material handling certification
