The Role:
Manages plans, directs and coordinates the provision of inventory materials and warehousing services to all user departments carrying out activities at Majnoon Field and in remote locations. Directs the movement of materials to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of materials to end user, and provides overall supervision over warehouse activities including day to day activities of warehouse operational staff to ensure efficient flow of materials through the stock control system. Supervise the receipt, despatch, inspection, storage, preservation, issuing and delivery of a wide range of goods and materials. Train nationals in acquiring inventory and warehousing skills for future state objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Manage Inventory and Warehousing group activities, ensuring that they performed in accordance with SIPD guidelines, standards, policies and procedures ensuring that any down-time experienced at SIPD facilities is not attributed to a non-supply of inventory.
Support the development and execution of SIPD Inventory policies and strategies, ensuring that SIPD inventories are physical managed in the most appropriate manner at all times.
Recommend actions to Management for opportunities of economic savings and improvements to Inventory techniques which will ensure efficient and economic continuity of inventory to the SIPD business.
Maintains close control over the warehousing data systems. Includes ensuring accurate posting of all stock requisitions, receipts and issue transactions, proper accounts codes are assigned to materials issued, field requisitions are fed into stock control system in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsible for the support of Company Safety, environment and Quality policies and programs, and carrying out specific duties and responsibilities related to the job
Manage and develop SIPD Materials staff.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS/ SPECIAL CHALLENGES:
Ensures that all inventory control activities are directed towards the optimization of the Company's investment in stock materials and consistent with operational objectives.
Participates in conjunction with the Contract and Procurement Manager and other departmental heads in determining the Company's inventory and warehousing policies and strategies covering stock items, optimum levels and delivery schedules. Includes reviewing Company policies and procedures in respect of inventory and warehousing, developing, recommending and ensuring implementation of approved policies and procedures aimed at facilitating optimum utilization of existing manpower, equipment and space.
Supervises the development/amendments of procedures related to material storage, handling, documentation and record keeping. Ensures adherence to established procedures and strict observance of Company's fire, safety and security procedures.
Supervises the stock control activities in the warehouses which include the preparation of various stock accounts and statement and periodic physical stock check activities.
Directs and/or participates in the investigation of serious stock anomalies, ensures that action is taken to correct errors indicated by the stock check and approves the necessary adjustment orders.
Ensures that vocabulary changes are made by warehouse personnel in accordance with established procedures.
Prepares annual stock check report for submission to and discussion with the Contract and Procurement Manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Comprehensive understanding of Supply /Materials/Procurement Chain Management with a minimum of 12 years experience.
Computer literacy including SAP, Microsoft Office applications and the ability to write and speak English
Have a proven working knowledge and understanding of computerised commercial Enterprise Resourcing systems
A strong knowledge of Warehousing, Logistics and Procurement processes and practices.
A sound knowledge of oil and gas exploration practices and the requirements for materials and equipment.
A strong understanding of the criticality of operational processes.
A strong appreciation of remote worksite operations together with logistical requirements and limitations.
