The Role:
Assist IR group, management and contractors to establish and maintain healthy IR culture on the Project.
Assist Contractor to effectively address any issues which may adversely impact on healthy IR culture in the workplace and implement appropriate actions to prevent recurrences.
Conduct daily site visits to discuss workplace issues with contractor employees and provide site visit reports to IR supervisors on current situation, results and feedback.
Provide workers with reliable information in line with RoK Labour Code, company policies and IR procedures.
Inform IR group and company management about potential labour relations
un satisfaction.
Promptly respond to any information/early warning indicators, which
may pose IR risk to the project.
Schedule and visit Contractors' Workers Committee meetings as the observer.
Prepare minutes of meeting, follow up with outstanding issues
and report to the IR Supervisor.
Provide assistance with grievance investigations upon request of IR Supervisor. Analyse complaints of employees, participate in resolution of problems and write detailed report on the findings.
Conduct audits, report the audit results, and follow up with mitigation steps, as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Higher professional education in areas of Industrial Relations, Law and Economics;
Work experience in the field related to Industrial Relations;
Knowledge of Kazakh, Russian and English languages;
Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills;
Knowledge of Labour Relations, RoK Labour legislation and other laws;
Effective listening and questioning skills, clear report writing skills;
Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information, investigative skills;
Good technical, planning and organization skills.
