Job Title: IT Admin Services Manager
Job Location: Surrey
Rate/Salary: Negotiable
Duration: 9 Months (Fixed Term)
Residency: EU

The Company:
Our client provides analysis, design and construction management for the transmission, distribution, generation and control of electric energy. Their clients include utility companies, government facilities and industrial companies that seek a connection to a power transmission or distribution network

The Role:
Work with the IT Admin Team to deliver the following:
A robust and auditable supplier evaluation and selection process
A transparent supplier review and appraisal process.
The development and management of relationships with certain key strategic suppliers / Business partners.
A set of clearly defined and measurable metrics for internal and external evaluation.
The definition and implementation of efficient and effective procurement processes that support all aspects of IT procurement.
Staff development plans through the use of annual appraisals, RYP and training.
Effective two way communication between the IT Admin Services team and the other IT teams.
A cost effective funding methodology for CIT procurements.
The definition and implementation of efficient and effective processes that support all aspects of the IT Asset Management function.
Work with the CAD & Engineering software team to develop the short and long term reporting requirements from our Asset Management system.
Manage and maintain a successful fixed line and mobile telecoms estate.
Provide summary reports to IT Management on IT training requirements, costs and resources.
AD HOC Project Management.
Provide weekly report(s) on the Teams activities and outstanding Business requirements / projects.
To be a pro-active member of the EA IT Management team.
Manage the relationship with the other IT functions and develop effective two way communication and co-operation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful implementation of change / process improvements within a Business function.
Knowledge of the use and benefits of an Asset Management Solution,
Experience of managing diverse teams in a fast changing environment
Proven track of managing strategic suppliers
Proven Project Management experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Degree Qualified
