The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Analyst to join a leading oil and gas operator in Melbourne.

The Role:

• To Support all Sales/MI local & global KPI and data preparation, analysis, and reporting with respect to StBC/DS1 activities.
• To develop models & reports for use in business analysis, change management communications, and business stakeholder engagement.
• To develop and maintain good business relationships with local & global team members & stakeholders involved in Streamline.


• Prepare, cleanse, convert and/or populate in time and in full the master and transactional data (existing and newly required) from existing systems into GSAP
• Ensure data processes implemented are consistent and without deviations from the standards
• Implement and own the identified part of the local Data Readiness deployment project plan.
• Support to give input on tracking and reporting the progress in accordance with overall country plans.
• Ensure all relevant data is defined
• Resolve data issues together with business and process experts.
• Close liaison with the local GSAP functional specialists and global Data SMEs to ensure accurate and timely data input
• Identifying and sharing learning’s/best practices with the other CDAs, with the Data SMEs and with the GSAP deployment team and other Data related country stakeholders to ensure in time and complete data transition.
• Participate, contribute and support on Business Validation, Data Cutover activities & testings
• Identify and escalate if necessary data risks/issues and proposed mitigation/resolution actions
• Identify, escalate and act upon any Data related legal/ fiscal requirements
• Support the process in readiness for a DS1 Go Live

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:

- 3 years Oil Products business experience
- 2-3 years Commercial business experience
- Excellent Analytical Skills
- Excellent IT Skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SAP
- Ability to lead projects/teams
- In-depth knowledge of roles, environment, organizational culture of the Commercial business.
- Must have ability to understand, communicate and negotiate potentially conflicting goals between organizational departments and customer groups
