The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Applications Support Coordinator. The primary objective of this role is to assist the Application Support Portfolio Specialists and Team Lead ensuring the expanding applications portfolio utilised in the production environment is effectively and efficiently managed and maintained, other duties will include;

• Lead and oversee the movement of applications in to and out of portfolios
• Establish governance mechanisms that ensure vendor expenditure aligns with financial management processes including budgetary controls
• Ensure the activities of Applications services providers are delivered to contractual obligations.
• Effective engagement/relationships with Portfolio stakeholders including business, IM&T functions and service providers
• Work with other IM&T functions, particularly Portfolio/ Programme leaders, Project Managers and service providers with a 'one team' focus on achieving business outcomes.
• Improve the quality of business interaction for Application Services.
• Must be a team player and assist in developing and fostering a team ethos within the IM & T team which includes working with our outsourcing providers.
• Ability to work across multiple portfolios and portfolio management specialist providing applications coordination services as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in IT or related field, or relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of application maintenance and support services - associated with responding to incidents, repairing defects, and analysing, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining minor functional and or technical enhancements.
• Demonstrated applications background associated with improvements to performance and or stability of applications and or add, change or remove requested functionality to or from the application.
• Commercial experience and can manage service provider's performance against outsourced contracts. Coordinates service providers to deliver business benefits to the business.
• Must be highly customer focused and result driven
• Proactive and positive attitude
