The Role:
Planning and Managing:
• Provide corrective, adaptive and perfect software maintenance duties for assigned solutions and application systems.
• Provide optimal, cost effective and support sustainable IT solution sets to the company, both core business and service/support groups in a timely manner.
• Trouble shoot & resolve system problems collaboratively with IT service providers: Client Support, Application, Database, Data Center, and Infrastructure groups.
• Work as a resource to system & maintenance development teams along with company business representatives to analyze and document business process models, future system requirements, data flows (e.g., system enhancement & repair)
• Explore alternative business solutions to serve client needs in terms of cost, performance, ease of use etc.
• Administer and manage software license agreements and vendor contracts & relations.
• Provide expert input to the development of appropriate processes and procedures.


Controlling:
• Monitor system performance and continuously improves IT solutions and systems to handle peak performances.
• Routinely track and document task progress and cost of maintenance and enhancement activities.
• Use appropriate change control and configuration management for development and maintenance activities including: requirements specification, design, contracts, product maintenance versions, and other software engineering documentation.
• Represent the client and end-user community in ensuring SLA performance metrics for each business and technical application of the assigned group are measured and used to determine value to the customer and to the business.
• Manage vendor and outsourcing relationship and performance.

Communicating:
• Focal point for all ongoing and annual capacity and performance management activities related to assigned solutions.
• Communicate status of maintenance and enhancement activities to customers and user community.
• Coordinate the resolution of systems problems with IT service providers and escalates as necessary.
• Regularly conduct Service Quality Meeting with clients to report on IT activities as well as keep up to date on how look back on the return of IT investment.

Compliance/Information Security:
• Accountable for ensuring compliance with Company and IT business policies and standards related to information security, data management, application administration, etc.
• Be appropriately informed of the basic information, rules, procedures, standards, guidelines, and practices required for their work, as contained in the Employee and Contractor.
• Understand and pro-actively performs his/her roles and responsibilities, derive.
• Comply with the major components of the Information Security Manual and corporate policy.
• Participate in the development and implementation of mitigation of security risks identified by the audit group through the implementation of prescribed action plans.
• Identify risks affecting the service levels for solutions and determine appropriate risk mitigation tasks.
