The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
Job Purpose
To maintain and support a safe and reliable corporate systems configuration and interfaces in order to ensure optimized functioning of applications to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Functional Duties
1. Provide support and deliver high quality execution of corporate applications such as SAP modules as well its integration with other systems (e.g. manufacturing systems, Engineering systems, etc.)
2. Work directly with internal customers to ensure recommendations for design and best practices are incorporated into the projects by collecting, transferring and implementing data collected into the manufacturing systems.
3. Manage user, Projects, functional, and design requirements and documentation processes.
4. Work with cross functional teams including Finance, HR, Procurement, Market Sell, Supply Chain, Plant Maintenance, EH&S, Manufacturing and Engineering for optimization of corporate applications to meet business integration requirements.
5. Responsible for maintaining technical deliverables for corporate applications
6. Proactively report on progress against schedule and budget.
7. Successfully manage and implement changes, utilizing large and small project work processes, approved functional tools and management of change process.
8. Utilize and maintain existing or develop plant performance indicators to monitor effectiveness of plant operation.
9. Provide SAP training to users as required for them to utilize SAP applications for proper and optimized business operations.
10. Coordinate maintenance and resolve unplanned infrastructure issues with IT personnel to ensure proper functioning of applications
11. Translate IT Strategy into specific initiatives and actions for a division or team and act on those initiatives to implement the IT Strategy.
12. Maintain deep expertise in the technology, software, and methodologies associated with the division.
13. Ensure stable, ongoing configuration, break/fix support and maintenance for all supported systems and services.
14. Ensure that transitioned and developed services meet Operational and Service Level Requirements, and are measurable and monitored.
15. Manage all staff within the Division in performing their delegated tasks.
16. Manage SAP upgrade and Patch implementations.
17. Search SAP AG Notes and implement relevant ones for resolving SAP issues or allowing use of functionality.
18. Provide input on the department’s annual budget requirements. As assigned, manage division or program/project budgets and financial reporting.
19. With Company Procurement, the IT Business Office, and the Law Department, establishes relationships with external service providers to agree on terms and conditions that best protect the interest of company for software licensing and maintenance agreement.
20. Ability to work on a team or lead team to resolve issues and be flexible to work long hours and weekend.
21. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/ manager.

Managerial Duties
1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by junior analysts, as assigned
2. Ensure all tasks and activities are performed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
3. Mange Project, System upgrade and lead cross team projects
4. Note: Not every position at this level will have managerial or direct report responsibility

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Academic and Professional Qualifications (minimum)
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering or any related field.
• Proficiency in programming, analysis, and/or service management practices.
• Experience of analyzing and breaking down problems and information using structured frameworks and methodologies
• Highly developed analytical thinking abilities and client facing communication skills
• Expert SAP Application knowledge; Manufacturing or Chemical industry knowledge
• 6+ years of experience in analysis, software architecture, software design, and/or process design with an emphasis on SAP applications

Professional Experience (minimum)
• Deep technical SAP expertise and a good understanding of relevant Chemical business processes and systems
• High commitment to meet business needs as well as Service and Operational Level requirements
• Experience of working with multiple third party vendors
• Proven leadership and manage
