The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our client is currently seeking a highly experienced IT Governance, Risk & Compliance Lead to join our IM&T department to oversee all elements regarding governance, risk and compliance for the corporation. While in the role your duties will include;
• Assisting the Manager - Strategy, Planning & Architecture in establishing, providing and maintain an effective level of IM&T Governance.
• Develop and promote the IT Governance framework for managing risk and compliance across IM&T in alignment with Corporate and Project expectations.
• Ensure any risks to the company interests arising from activity conducted by and services provided by IM&T are identified, controlled and monitored in a consistent manner.
• Facilitate the refresh of IM&T risks in accordance with the company Policy and Standards for Enterprise Risk Management.
• Measure and report compliance to IM&T policies, standards, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal company obligations as well as relevant regulatory standards, including JSOX, by developing and implementing effective processes and controls within IM&T.
• Drive awareness and continuously improve the practice of IT Risk Management for IM&T.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Thorough knowledge of IT Governance frameworks such as COBIT 5 and risk management practices, such as ISO 31000 (AS/NZS 4360) or the COSO framework.
• IT Governance or Audit Certifications (e.g. CGEIT, CISA)
• Security qualifications are desirable (e.g. CISM, CISSP)
• Degree in IT or related field, or relevant experience
• Strong audit background - with proven experience of leading IT related audits and remediation exercises.
• 10 years+ experience of applying IT Governance, Audit and / or Risk Management practices within a medium/large sized organisation.
