The Company:
A major Oil & Gas Operator with extensive projects in the Caspian Region.

The Role:
Kazakhstan Residents Only

This position is responsible for providing Information Risk management (IRM), Data Privacy , Information Protection (IP) compliance policies and regulations guidance and support forBase Business and IT:
• Assist IRM Coordinator with IRM compliance program, included but not limited to monitoring IP Compliance tasks completion, tracking IRM online training completion status
• Liaises with Legal, Export Compliance and HR (Data Privacy) departments on compliance (e.g. 3rd Party access, RoK laws regarding personal data transmittal, encryption, etc).
• Ensure IT and business enabling projects with major IT component are compliant with relevant Policies.
• Provide guidance on IRM assessments checklist
• Schedules and facilitates meetings with Information steward and Information custodian, record meeting notes for evergreen processes
• Communicates in all directions to raise awareness of IP/IRM/Data Privacy and share information within and Corporate/Upstream IRM community on IRM, Data Privacy, Export Compliance, Data retention & other.
• Provide assistance on maintaining the IT Disaster recovery Plan implementation and planning for exercises of testing redundancy of IT systems

Required Qualifications (MUST HAVE):
• Strong communication (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills with solid ability to effectively engage business and technical audiences on all levels
• Higher technical education.
• Fluent English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to engage difficulties with persistence. Ability to constructively manage issues, conflicts and problems in a prompt, direct and objective manner
• Organized and skilled at planning. Ability to work from a high-level to a low level of detail, and handle multiple assignments with varying priorities and deadlines
• Self-directed, flexible, working with minimal supervision, takes initiative, displays a high degree of ownership
• Good understanding of system hardware, operating systems, application and network architecture

Designed Qualifications (NICE TO HAVE):
• Preferable to have knowledge of Industrial standards for Information Security (ISO 27001, COBIT 4.1)
