The Role:
The IT Network Project Engineer role is to provide delivery of the network and telecoms infrastructure to support the Well Operations and Capital Project programs of work

Accountabilities and End Results:
Accountable for the delivery of the technical design and implementation of the network and telecoms infrastructure to support the Well Operations and Capital Project programs of work to ConocoPhillips standards and handover to the operations group.


Primary Functions & Dimensions:

• Delivery of the network and telecoms infrastructure to support the Well Operations and Capital Project programs of work
• Delivery of the technical design of the network solution to ConocoPhillips standards and handover to the operations group
• Providing tuning for performance and stability for delivery of offshore solutions
Critical Skills:

• Five years of direct network support experience
• Five years of direct IT experience Network support in a Cisco Environment
• Ability and willingness to perform tasks outside normal business hours and on weekends
• Expert diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem solving
• Ability to work effectively across time zones and geography
• Self-directed and self-motivated to solve problems quickly and creatively
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Preferred Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences or IT related field
• Voice Network skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Instant Messaging systems.
• Infrastructure support and design experience
• Offshore Oil and Gas experience
