The Role:
Accountabilities and End Results:
The IT Operations Analyst has responsibility for ensuring a documented, sustainable and efficient service for customer request-fulfilment in line with Global polices and systems. The IT Operations Analyst is also responsible for the coordination of Internal IT Compliance activities such as Disaster Recovery, Self-Audit, KPI reporting and Tracking

Primary Functions & Dimensions:

• Owner of ServiceNow (Ticket Management System) Portfolio including continuous improvement , issue escalation and managing improvements of the tool/processes on behalf of UK EP & IT
• Day to Day management of Service Requests through IT Store, including approvals, communications and escalation
• Coordination of all Communications to the business in regards to Planned and Unplanned Outages, major change, major issues and key events.
• Business Analyst to IT department, priortising and managing expectations of IT project improvements
• Coordination with the Business Analysts in regards to stakeholder requirements in regards to key events (change control etc)
• Creation and Ownership of the IT Self-Audit Programme to ensure consistent continuous improvements in regards to policies and procedures.
• Coordination of all E & P UK IT Audit’s both internal and external on behalf of all groups.
• Ownership and maintenance of the Business facing IT website
• Ownership of the IT DR Management Response Plan and coordination of assurance of all necessary DR plans, documents and testing
• Global and Local focal point for Internal IT changes, such as system upgrades.
• Coordination and Creation of Operations/service and Portfolio KPI Measurements, with regular tracking and reporting

1. Core Technical Experience
• Previous IT oil and gas experience
• Strong on documentation, processes and a determined finisher capable of handling the day to day operational pressure
• Strong understanding of IT Services, policies and strategies
• Exposure to key IT and Business Applications and IT Change Management Processes and Risks
• Exposure to IT Compliance Requirements and IT KPI Considerations

2. Qualifications
• Computing Science degree, B.Sc. or M.Sc. or comparable education. Non-computing education may be compensated with documented relevant experience of working in similar role for a production / operations facing IT organisation
