The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company which will construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex in Saudi Arabia. Once completed, the complex will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built in a single phase. Our client will establish a world-scale manufacturing footprint that delivers a full range of value-added, performance products destined for the emerging markets of Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Africa.

The Role:
• Operate, maintain and support IT operations and assist higher classified specialists in carrying out timely resolution of any problems or issues in order to ensure trouble-free, secure and consistent IT operations.

1.Handle a wide range of repairs and maintenance including microprocessor, controlled data communication units, monitoring devices and computer systems.
2.Test and maintain different component levels to ensure that systems and communication network are properly functioning.
3.Respond to critical trouble reports by quickly addressing the issue at hand, and escalate to senior specialists regarding complex problems.
4.Perform trouble shooting as instructed by supervisor, including analysing network / system problems and effectively handling complications applying (e.g. reconfiguring network, checking conductivity).
5.Conduct a regular preventive maintenance checks using the corresponding testing methods to ensure that the general technical and physical features are in adequate operational condition and to report any need for further maintenance or replacement.
6.Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resource.
7.Identify trouble sources and isolate defective components utilizing electronic test equipment, manufacturers’ troubleshooting procedures and learned techniques.
8.Document all problems, issues and repairs in the log in order to be used for quality assurance and future trend analysis.
9.Customize and adjust electronic components to meet requirements as well as local operating standards.
10.Assist in the maintenance and use of unit files containing manufacturers’ manuals, work procedures, schematic drawings, parts listings and related records.
11.Assist in on-the-job training and job certification of lower classified technicians.
12.Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•A diploma in IT related field.
• Chemical industry experience
