The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our client is currently looking for an experienced Service Transition Coordinator to join our highly motivated and successful IM&T team based in Perth, in the role some duties will include;

• Define, document and manage the Service Transition work as part of the team to identify demand and capacity management issues for the IT Operations Group (production)
• Work as part of the Service Transition team on allocated activities ensuring both the technical and non-technical aspects of IT Services are considered (as they transition from the design to operations phase of the Service lifecycle).
• Actively contribute to the development of the documentation associated with transition of projects into production.
• Work as part of the team to drive service improvement initiatives and plans to ensure they are captured, scoped, costed, prioritised and delivered accordingly.
• Align project to ensure Service Transition's compliance to auditable components of the process.
• Build strong working relationships with Business/customer representatives within the PMO and stakeholders to ensure early visibility of projects and initiatives

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Strong written and oral communication with all levels of management and team members.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management and related frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT or equivalent.
• Knowledge in ITIL V3 Service Transition practice.
• Project experience with application implementations and infrastructure implementations.
• Understanding of project frameworks such as PRINCE2 or equivalent.
• Familiarity with common standards such as ISO20000 and ISO7799.
• The ability to create, negotiate and implement Continuous improvements in Service Management.
• The ability to conduct audit and reviews of the Service Transition processes
