The Role:
Position line reports to : IM Lead - Operational, Global IT Manager - Functional

Main tasks and specific responsibilities

- Implement the Module / PAR / PAU IT Plan inssued by the Global IM&T team.
- Follow IT Plans, procedures and work instructions issued by the IT Lead or Global IT Manager.
- Documenting procedures for how IT support is provided.
- Ensure systems and date are sourced / backed up in accordance with KJVG/KBR policy
- Develop clear requirements specifications and manage the interfaces between the project and IT service providers such as KBR IPS ensuring delivery against agreed budgets and timescales.
- Provide an audit trail of START ticket numbers and a brief description of how problems were resolved and escalate tickets where appropriate.
- Set up and coordinate resolution of issues with multi-function photocopying equipment which in also provides the fax, scanning and printing requirements of the Project
- Provide regular feedback to end users of fixes to their problems or progress
- Coordinate resolution of issues with all KBR COE and non-KBR applications installed on KBR COE PCs, Workstations and Laptops.
- Coordinate resolution of issues with GIL PCs, Workstations and Laptops and associated software.
- Manage the IT interface between the fabrications yard and KBR IPS in the Singapore SDC and Greenford.
- Manage the IT interface between the fabrication yard and the Singapore eHUB.
- Assist with network issues related to video conference equipment.
Coordinate resolution of AT&T MPLS and internet issues.
- Resolve basic network issues such as cable patching, switch port malfunction and matching switch port speeds to PC network card speeds.
- Monitor the close out and resolution of issues especially those requiring external support via START tickets.
- Provide hardware and software in a timely manner, proactively working with the project's main stakeholders to ensure requirements are planned in advance, understood and are met.
- Backup and recover data.
- Develop the Business Continuity Plan from an IT perspective only and Implement as required.
- Provide IT support to the Client as requested but in close liaison with own IT
- Coordinate resolution of cabling . voice communication issues with the contractor.
- Manage the coordination of support for all infrastructure equipment such as Servers, printers, switches and servers installed at the fabrication yard.
- Manage 'switch-over' to / from Internet VPN in case of MPLS issues.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Proven track record of managing and implementing IT infrastructure and systems.
Demonstrable team player
At least four years work experience in an IT environment of which at least 3 years should be direct experience in EPC projects
At least two years experience with IT systems in an analytical capacity
At least four years supervisory experience
Will have executed at least on major non-JV Project and one major JV EPC project.
Will have a clear understanding of business needs, conditions and processes
Will demonstrate the ability to manage tasks against stated requirement, budget, quality, and resource.
Proven ability to produce well defined plans and procedures for people to work to.
Coordination and liaison with 3rd party IT/ Telecommunication organisations.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years experience in Offshore Oil & Gas Industry, within minimum 5 years IT experience at fabrication and/or construction sites.
Degree level in an IT/engineering discipline or equivalent.
