The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
To execute the role effectively the incumbent will require strong testing and project management, excellent planning and communication skills, together with the ability to approach tasks in a pragmatic, methodical and results driven manner. The ability to communicate at all levels of management and facilitate key decision making between parties will be a key factor to succeed in this role.

Test Management Key responsibilities of the Test Lead:
• Develop and execute the test strategy for the Portfolio comprising multiple programs and projects
• Plan and coordinate testing aligned to the portfolio’s Release framework and timelines
• Oversight & Assurance of the development and quality of Master Test Plans for individual projects
• Key interface liaising with Project delivery teams as well as offshore Test Centre
• Review and endorse Project Test Artifacts
• Guidance to project tests resources with respect to Portfolio Test Strategy, Tools and Processes
• Accountable for the Management and Execution of System Integration Testing (SIT)
• SIT Planning
• Develop & Manage SIT requirements
• Coordinate Project and Offshore resources as required to execute SIT
• Oversee the development of Test Data and Scripts
• Manage the IT Test Environment
• Manage Test Phase Cycles
• Identify, classify and track defects during testing
• Test Reporting and Documentation
• Release and Change Control
• Management and oversight of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Ensure appropriate use of Test Tools and Processes
• Undertake reporting on, and quality assurance analysis of test results to ensure all tests are executed as per the test plans Operations System Team Contribution and Stakeholder Management
• Participate/Contribute to associated Portfolio functions where required e.g. Release Management, Configuration Management and Environment Management planning/activities
• Fosters strong relationships and builds partnerships with key business and IS stakeholders
• Applies superior communication skills to engage stakeholders and partners.
• Facilitates workshops and delivers presentations as required.
• Provides regular updates on activities, risks and issues and liaises with the Program Managers, QA Lead and Test and Release Manager to prioritise activities and agree test and release schedules.
• Ability to work with a diverse range of support organisations geographically dispersed.
• Ability to build and foster strong intra-team relationships with Offshore Test Centres, and internal delivery partners to enable continual improvement, standardisation and leverage opportunities through engagement and building of external partnerships with external Service and Solution providers.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Tertiary Qualification in a related IT discipline
Minimum of 7-10 years experience as a Test Manager or Test Lead within the oil and gas or similar industry, preferably with experience in the following areas: Portfolio / Program Test Management, Test Strategy and Execution, Test Management Methodologies and Tools
Demonstrated capacity to learn new skills and integrate new processes and technology into existing work activities. Good planning, budgeting and supervisory skills Excellent IT, communication skills, including liaison, consultation, negotiation and presentation skills Experience in IT solutions development and implementation and exposure to variety of IT Test tools and technologies is desirable Methodical and practical approach to issue prevention, problem solving and an ability to work under the pressure Vendor/Supplier Management Stakeholder Engagement Delivery Assurance
PRINCE 2 or PMBOK (or equivalent)
