The Company:
a major oil and gas operator is seeking a Jacket and Piles Construction Manager to join one of their major projects.

The Role:
Job Description:
The Jacket and Piles Construction Manager will be a member of a multifunctional project team responsible for the design and construction of the well head production platform. He is required to have broad understanding of design, procurement, fabrication, construction and installation with working capability in project schedule and cost controls.

He will supervise a group of company/contractor construction engineers and inspectors in Contractor's EPCI offices in Houston,Texas USA and will eventually move to the jacket and piles fabrication yard in South Asia to manage execution of the fabrication and load-out of the facility. He will provide leadership in the implementation of the Operator's key processes (OE and CSOC) for construction management including detailed design, fabrication, management of change, third party services and compliance assurance to ensure safe, timely and high quality construction execution. He will have oversight function over site safety representatives,fabrication yard based engineering, procurement and project controls personnel. He will closely collaborate with the topsides fabrication team and also interface with the brown field and pipelines delivery teams to meet the project objectives.

Additional Qualifications:
Ability to lead safety performance and implementation to achieve an effective Incident and Injury Free (IIF) construction activities. Experienced with detailed engineering design, including equipment layout, operability and constructability review. International major capital project construction experience including fabrication and installation of offshore facilities, heavy lifts, cost estimating and scheduling. Experience with coordinating construction and logistics activities in Asia and West Africa. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to accurately explain the project critical issues in usable formats to stakeholders in English language.

Base Location:
Houston, TX Resident initially (12months) and later Korea or Singapore (18 months to 2 years)

May be considered for Korea/Singapore assignment.

10+ years experience with at least 5 years experience as a Construction Manager for large, offshore, multi-discipline projects. Preferably with a degree in engineering (civil and or structural)
