The Company:
A global Oil & Gas operator with major projects in the Caspian region.

The Role:
KEY ROLES

• Supervises the Company QC inspection team performing monitoring and informal and formal surveillances on contractors QC and Inspection activities for compliance to project requirements
• Reviews Contractor QC and Inspection personnel, procedures and plans to confirm alignment to Company requirements
• Supervise the Company QC team, for monitoring and surveillances of Contractors Quality Control and Inspection site activities
• Provide HSE leadership and report to Company any unsafe acts or conditions, work with Company and Contractors to deliver expectations
• Control the programme for Company review of site welding and NDE inspections, weld radiograph interpretation and ultrasonic weld confirmation checks (critical and non-critical welds). Maintain reports and registers on findings from NDE confirmation checks
• Identify and resolve non-conformances and corrective actions to Contractors welding and NDE activities to satisfactory close-out
• Review and approve Contractors Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) ensure Company monitor, witness and hold points are included where required and ITPs are implemented
• Provide input into lessons learned, PIMS and risk management systems
• Provide detailed weekly and monthly Quality reports as required by project and attend project meetings as required
• Provide advice, coaching and training to Azerbaijani National personnel
• Review and approval of Contractors Quality Control and Inspection personnel and procedures related to welding and NDE
• Perform performance reviews, recommend areas for improvement
• Ensure Contractors fully implement project requirements for welding and NDE as defined in approved specifications and procedures
• Source required data for monitoring and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Competent in both written and verbal communication in English language.
• Supervise quality control and inspection activities and surveillances on Contractors QC and Inspection activities, particularly relevant to all welding and NDE operations.
• Report and resolve non-conformances and corrective actions with documented evidence and close-out to satisfactory resolution
• Ability to self-motivate
• Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
• Senior Welding Inspector – CSWIP/PCN Level 3.2
• Radiographic Interpreter – CSWIP/PCN Level 2
• Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) Approved
• Ultrasonic Inspection – CSWIP/PCN Level 2 (3.1, 3.2, 3.8, 3.9)
• Automatic Ultrasonic Inspection knowledge and Interpretation
• Magnetic Particle Inspection – CSWIP/PCN Level 2
• Dye Penetrant Inspection – CSWIP/PCN Level 2
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems

• Qualified auditor
