The Company:
Our client is a world leading oil and gas industry operating company with operations actively in SEA region and looking for very specialized individuals to join their team to work on their projects based in Brunei/ Malaysia/ Myanmar/ Thailand and Europe.

The Role:
• To monitor and control the implementation of the approved QA/QC plan.
• To ensure that qualified welders and welding operators are working in accordance to approved welding procedure.
• To review all procedures and queries related to WPS and coordinate with the Quality Superintendent.
• To witness and monitor of WPS/PQR for Structure and Piping activities.
• To supervise and monitor all QA/QC activities performed for construction, installation and pre-commissioning.
• To ensure that the works are closely inspected by the contractor’s QC inspection team (radiographic test, UT, NDT, etc).
• To submit a QC report to the Company Site Representative and Quality Superintendent, when deviations are detected so that the contractor can be instructed to take corrective action.
• To monitor the progress of QA/QC activities on work sites and submit regular reports to Quality Superintendent.
• To report any anomalies to his hierarchical superiors.
• To review qualification of all NDT personnel and Welders.
• To ensure that contractors comply with QA/QC requirements regarding documentation filling, material and control traceability, and materials reception, storage and preservation.
• To ensure compliance on work sites with QA/QC rules and standards, and report any anomalies.
• To ensure awareness and compliance with HSE rules and regulations by subordinates and contractors.
• To carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by his hierarchical superiors.
• Any other work of a similar nature as may be requested by COMPANY.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP/AWS/PCN) and NDT Level 2 inspector (CSWIP/PCN/EN 473) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in QA/QC, with a minimum of 5 years in a construction supervisory role within a project
• Good knowledge of the Company rules and specifications
• Good Communication skills and fluency in English.
• To have good interpersonal and diplomatic skill.
