The Company:
Our major Oil & Gas Client is in need of a Joint Interest Engineering Technician in Houston, Texas.

The Role:
JOINT INTEREST ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN
Purpose: Provide technical support and analysis for non operated surveillance activities. Support Joint Interest Advisor to prepare well election packages, perform decline curve and economic analyses, update various databases and tracking spreadsheets, coordinate with Land. Access various external web sites (Operator and State) to gather and analyse data. Help prepare annual forecasts and budgets, long range plans.
Core Accountabilities:
• An overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development
• Alignment with the Client operating principles and Charter Values
• Analyze and interpret non operated well data and report results
• Update and maintain an integrated Aires database with non operated well data including:
o Production and type curve analyses
o Capex, opex, and economic tables, etc.
o WI and NRI
• Generate economic evaluations for well proposals and budgets
• Support production reporting and forecasting activities
• Support reserves migration, decline curve analyses, track and report changes
• Track non-operated drilling activities
• Monitor Operator and State Web sites, pull data from IHS databases.
• Create complex reports and tracking tools.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, CANDIDATE MUST BE WELL ORGANIZED AND TASK ORIENTED WITH THE ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK AND PRIORITIZE UNDER PRESSURE OF SUBSTANTIAL JOINT INTEREST PORTFOLIO.

Degree preferred (relevant Associate or Bachelor). Experience & Technical Competencies: • Minimum 5 years experience working as an engineering technician supporting a subsurface team, preferably with North American unconventional experience. • Minimum 2 years experience with ARIES, OFM preferred, IHS databases preferred, GIS beneficial, VOLTS beneficial. • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc • Strong Excel skills
