The Role:
The primary role of the SNS/EIS Joint Venture Assistant is to support the activity and business of the joint venture(s) in line with the goals and objectives of the SNS/EIS Business. This position will be a direct report to the SNS/EIS Planning Manager.

Primary Functions / Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities involve working with the Joint Venture Managers and Business Analysts to ensure that routine reporting and monitoring activities are carried out. Specifically this will involve monitoring production from the North Sea assets and reporting this and any variance to partners on a regular basis. In addition the position will also be responsible for operating, maintaining and developing the Computer Contracts Database, obtaining venting, flaring & production consents, shutdown reporting to DECC and National Grid, providing reserves information to the Tax Department, and supporting and implementing the plan for Document and Records Management and for European Union Emissions Trading System. In addition the JVA will be responsible for routine maintenance on the Infrastructure Code Of Practice website.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Strong numerical and written skills and able to produce accurate work under time constraints.
•Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office and database experience desirable.
•Good interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with a diverse team and to build new relationships quickly both with internal staff and external stakeholders.
•Ability to manage several tasks and to meet deadlines.
•Enthusiastic team player bringing a constructive and positive approach.
•Previous knowledge of JV activities would be useful but not essential.
