The Company:
Our major Oil & Gas Client is in need of a Quality Engineer in Houston, Texas.

The Role:
The Quality Engineer position will work to apply the Quality Management System to project.


-Plan quality activities for the project
-General quality oversight of QMS-required processes (lessons learned, ITP review, etc)
-Manage technical deliverables and verify approvals per corporate guidelines
-Technical Integrity Verification program –
-Verify implementation of technical criteria
-Quality risk identification and mitigation
-Assess project risks during design and construction
-Develop risk mitigation plan and Key Performance Indicators
-Bid evaluation and vendor assessment
-Drive root cause investigaton and mindset/culture
-Participate in QMS improvement activities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Engineering (mechanical, civil, petroleum, chemical preferred) or equivalent
-5+ years of project engineering/project management/project quality experience in oil and gas industry, with understanding of project processes from design to operations
-3+ years of manufacturing-related (machining, fabricating, assembly) experience, preferred
-Ability to effectively implement and facilitate quality work in large project teams (over 50 people)
-Ability to influence and deliver results through others
-Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task
-Self-motivated and independent thinker, with ability to implement goals with minimal supervision
